Activists protest against defence trade fair in Brno

Activists on Wednesday coloured water in two fountains in the centre of the Brno red to look like blood in protest against the International Defence and Security Technologies Fair (IDET) and put a banner saying War Stars Here above the main entrance to the exhibition ground. The activists obeyed when the police ordered them to climb down from the roof and they caused no damage according to available information, police spokesman Pavel Svab said.
