40 soldiers and military police officers could become part of NATO battle group

Up to 40 members of the Slovak Armed Forces and the Military Police, together with the necessary material and equipment, could perform tasks within the NATO multinational battle group in Slovakia, according to a proposal that the Defence Ministry submitted to fast-tracked inter-ministerial comments proceedings. Their operation could begin on October 1 and last until the end of the NATO group's activities in Slovakia.
