2021 Census - Presov region population youngest in all of Slovakia

According to the results of the 2021 census, the youngest region in Slovakia in terms of inhabitants is Presov region with 147,530 children aged 0-14, who make up 18.2 percent of the region's total population. Conversely, the region with the fewest children is Trencin region, with 81,497 children in the same age category, making up 14.1 percent of the local populace. The other regions were placed in this regard as follows: Kosice region (137,100), Bratislava region (121,000), Zilina region (109,800), Banska Bystrica region (93,500), Nitra region (93,400) and Trnava region (83,400).
