Zeman signs bill on expanding family allowances during state of emergency

President Milos Zeman signed the bill expanding the length and scope of the family allowance for the duration of the state of emergency. The allowance, which originally allows parents of children under ten to stay at home with the children for a maximum of nine days, will during the school shutdown be expanded to children up to 13 years of age, and to those caring for disabled children.
