Two planes makes emergency landings at Warsaw airport

An Embraer plane made an emergency landing shortly after take-off from Warsaw Chopin Airport on Thursday due to technical reasons, PAP was told by the airport's press service. "The captain of the plane flying to Zurich reported technical problems shortly after its take-off. The aircraft with 90 passengers on board landed safely. It was accompanied by Warsaw airport's rescue services. Due to the operation, all take-offs and landings were suspended for a dozen or so minutes," the service reported. At 6am on Thursday, an MD 11 cargo plane made an emergency landing at Warsaw Chopin Airport due to a fire in one of its engines.
