February 14th, 2020

The police reported 170 crimes committed in an extremist context in 2019, nine cases less than in 2018, 96 of which were solved, the Interior Ministry said in its report on extremism today. Most often, in 61 cases, the police detected crimes categorised as the support and propagation of a movement tending towards suppressing human rights and freedoms, the expression of sympathies towards such a movement and the denial, disputing, abetting or justifying genocide.
