The Czech Republic on Thursday conveyed its legal opinion to the International Criminal Court (ICC), expressing doubts as to whether the ICC can deal with suspected war crimes committed by Israel against Palestinians on their territories, the Foreign Ministry told CTK today. In its letter to the ICC, signed by Foreign Minister Tomas Petricek, Prague argues in favour of Israel, It says that Palestine is not a sovereign state and therefore the ICC is not authorised to decide on the above case.
