Czech president ready to dismiss Culture Minister as of July 31

Czech President Milos Zeman is ready to meet the PM's request for Culture Minister Antonin Stanek's (Social Democrats, CSSD) dismissal as of July 31, and as for his successor, he will wait for the CSSD's stance, CSSD leader Jan Hamacek said after meeting Zeman and Stanek on Friday. The CSSD wants Stanek to leave the cabinet and has proposed its deputy chairman Michal Smarda as his replacement.
