Czech municipalities ask for detailed coronavirus data

The Union of Cities and Villages (SMO) has asked Czech Health Minister Adam Vojtech and the Institute of Health Information and Statistics (UZIS) to publish detailed information about the number of infected in specific municipalities. According to current legislature on the access to information, mayors have to rely on the media or request such information from the local public health office. The SMO said that at the moment, mayors do not have access to the data, noting that it has been calling for the government to find a solution since March.
