A total of twenty prosecutors from the Special Prosecutors Office (USP) have expressed their support for Prosecutor-General Maros Zilinka in connection with the announced reorganisation of USP, Prosecutor-General's Office spokeswoman Jana Tokolyova told TASR on Thursday. "Deputy Special Prosecutor Alexander Biro and 19 USP prosecutors support the prosecutor-general in his efforts to reform and reorganise USP when it comes to merging the extremist crime department with the organised crime, terrorism and international crime department. They view this change as a step towards making the office more effective," reads their statement.
