Victims' names read to honour Holocaust Remembrance Day in Czech Republic

A three-hour public reading of Holocaust victims was held online due to coronavirus pandemic on the occasion of the Holocaust Remembrance Day today. "For 16 years, we have been joining the commemoration of the Holocaust heroes and victims, called Yom Hazikaron laShoah ve-laG'vurah, paying respects to the uprising of Jewish inmates of the Nazi ghetto in Warsaw," the president of the Institute of Terezin Initiative (ITI), Tereza Stepkova, said.
