The number of coronavirus-related deaths started surging last October, having come to a head this March and now the total death toll reached 28,000. Last October, November and this March, there were over 200 dead a day several times. The absolute record of 262 dead occurred on November 3. March 8 follows with 235 fatalities and March 15 comes third with 233 COVID-related deaths in one day.
