Sulik: Slovak govt intent on bleeding low-income self-employed dry

The overhaul of contributions launched by the Government is the exact opposite of what the Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party pushed for while in power (2010-12), SaS leader Richard Sulik told a press conference on Thursday. Instead of lowering the burden on the self-employed, the Cabinet is intent on "taking them to the cleaners", said Sulik. "This is simply bleeding people with low and the lowest incomes dry," he added.
