Some four fifths of Czechs for ban on smoking in restaurants, says poll

Some 78 percent of Czechs are for a ban on smoking in restaurants, Radek Jaluvka, a poll taken in April, said on Wednesday. The ban is also supported by 40 percent of smokers who constitute one fourth of Czech inhabitants. Denisa Kasl Kollmannova, from the UK Faculty of Social Sciences, said the Czech Republic is one of the last countries in which smoking in restaurants was permitted.
