Slovakia unemployment 13.4pc in April

The unemployment rate was up by 0.46 percentage points on an annual basis in April to reach 13.4 percent, the Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Office (UPSVaR) announced on Monday. In March, the rate stood at 13.69 percent. A total of 362,180 people were immediately available for work in the fourth month of the year, with their number rising by 5 percent, or 16,877 people, year-on-year.
