Slovakia proposes defence cooperation with Hungary

Slovakia is interested in co-operating with Hungary in the field of defence not only at a bilateral level but also as part of regional defence co-operation within the Visegrad Four group, Defence Ministry State Secretary Milos Koterec told Hungarian Ambassador to Slovakia Csaba Balogh on Friday. "In this respect, we consider our shared efforts to create a battle group of V4 countries to be a perfect opportunity to enhance our collective as well as joint capabilities, which could be put to use not only for the EU but also for NATO," said Koterec.
