Slovakia govt approves 500 euro vouchers for vaccinated over-60s

Slovakia's government on Wednesday approved a finance ministry-sponsored bill introducing 500 euro vouchers for individuals over 60 years of age who are vaccinated against Covid. The vouchers will be redeemable in restaurants, hotels, guest houses and cafes, and it will also be possible to use them to pay for cultural events and selected services. Approving the bill, the cabinet has asked parliament to pass it via fast-track proceedings.
