Slovakia's D1 motorway to Kosice not complete before 2020

According to experts approached by Pravda daily and quoted in an article published on Friday, the D1 motorway link between Bratislava and Kosice won't be completed earlier than 2020. If the estimates are correct, this will mean another in a series of delays. Transport Minister Jan Pociatek (Smer-SD) recently set the completion date for the D1 at 2017. Former transport minister Jan Figel (KDH) also used to promise 2017.
