Slovak employment grows in selected market services

Employment in March 2012 compared to March 2011 rose most in selected market services (by 8 percent), the Statistics Office announced on Friday. Employment also grew in IT (2.7 percent), in accommodation (2.4 percent), in the restaurant sector (0.9 percent) and in industry (0.5 percent). Conversely, employment fell in car sales (4.9 percent), in construction and transport (both by 3.5 percent), in retail (1 percent) and in wholesale (0.2 percent).
