Six out of 23 people aboard the Russian military plane suffered injuries when the plane crashed at the military airport near Caslav and caught fire during landing on Wednesday, Czech chief of staff Vlastimil Picek said. The Russian Open Skies observation mission was in Caslav with a special An-30 Antonov aircraft, Picek said and added that the life of none of the injured persons is threatened. He confirmed a Russian Defence Ministry report that the crash was caused by undercarriage defect.
