Representatives of public city transport operators announce strike alert

Representatives of employees of companies that operate public city transport in Bratislava, Kosice and Presov have said they will go on a strike alert from Tuesday. The employees want to express their disagreement with the fact that the state has not yet financially helped the companies deal with the shortfalls in their revenues caused by the coronavirus pandemic. This has created the risk that some routes will be scrapped and staff laid off.
