Rath entitled to attend parliament debate on his case-Czech court

David Rath, a Czech lawmaker who faces corruption charges and remains in custody, has the right to attend the Chamber of Deputies session that is to definitively decide on his release for prosecution, the district court supervising the case said on Friday. Rath is also entitled to attend a meeting of the lower house's mandate and immunity committee and defend himself, but he will not take part in any other sessions or votes of the Chamber of Deputies, the court spokesman, Jan Tichy, said.
