Polish, US geologists plan report on tight gas in Poland

The Polish Geological Institute (PiG) and US Geological Survey (USGS) plan to draft a report on Polish recoverable tight gas resources, PiG director Jerzy Nawrocki told PAP on Thursday. Nawrocki stressed that PIG had not started official talks to this effect with the USGS. "USGS deputy head of geological security department Douglas Duncan is currently in Poland. We want to talk to him about further cooperation in the evaluation of potential tight gas reserves.
