Polish parliament inaugurates Information Society Day

The Polish Sejm (lower house) Thursday inaugurated World Information Society Day (May 17) with a conference on the construction of information society in Poland. The meeting, opened by the Sejm's deputy speaker Cezary Grabarczyk, is the 13th in a Round Table Conference cycle devoted to information society. The main topic was the access of women to IT technology.
