Polish foreign minister meets Aung San Suu Kyi

Myanmar-visiting Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski on Thursday in Rangoon met renowned oppositionist and Nobel Peace Prize holder Aung San Suu Kyi, whom he invited to visit Poland. Suu Kyi accepted the invitation but noted that she probably will not manage to visit Poland this year. Sikorski assured Suu Kyi of Poland's support for democratic change in Myanmar. Suu Kyi said she had always admired Poles for their stand during World War Two and under communism.
