Polish firms invest USD 7 billion abroad

PWC consultancy firm estimates direct foreign investments of Polish businesses at USD 7 billion in 2011, USD 1.5 billion higher than a year earlier. "About 18 percent of large Polish companies offer their products abroad and 61 percent of them intend to expand their activity," head of the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency Slawomir Majman said on Monday at a "Polish Champion" programme conference. The programme's aim is to promote Polish companies on foreign markets.
