The Covid-19 infection has been confirmed in more than 900,000 people in the Czech Republic since the epidemic outbreak in March, and on Tuesday, 9,558 new coronavirus cases were reported, which is 1,239 fewer than a week ago, data released by the Health Ministry on Wednesday show. The number of those hospitalised with Covid-19 dropped from almost 7,000 on Monday to 6,608 on Tuesday. Some 1,100 patients are in a serious condition. Approximately 85 percent out of more than 909,000 people infected since March have already recovered. The number of active infections stands at 126,561.
