One third of Poles satisfied with safety in Poland - survey

One third (66 percent) of respondents said that Poland is a safe country to live in. Thirty-one percent expressed an opposite opinion, according to a survey conducted by the OBOP public opinion polling centre. A record 89 percent of Poles since the late 1980s said they feel safe in their neighbourhood, 59 percent said they do not fear that they may fall victim to crime, while 39 percent did not exclude such possibility.
