The Czech Republic registered 8,162 new confirmed Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, some 3,000 fewer than a week ago, while the share of the positive tested samples dropped slightly to almost 30 percent as against Tuesday, according to the Health Ministry's data released this morning. Another 153 Covid-related deaths were reported on Wednesday, with the total death toll reaching 14,973 in the country so far. On Tuesday, more than 6,600 patients with the novel coronavirus were in hospital.
