Hungarian Foreign Minister Janos Martonyi and Italy's former foreign minister Franco Frattini have agreed that the European Union would need a legitimate leader elected by the public. "If we fail to provide more legitimacy for the [European] institutions, we will give too much power to the so-called experts," Martonyi told a conference organised by think-tank Nezopont Institute on Monday.
