LOT, Turkish Airline to meet on Poland's LOT takeover

The managements of Poland's national airline LOT and Turkish Airlines will meet in Turkey coming days to discuss the Polish carrier's possible takeover by the Turkish line, the Polish Treasury Ministry informed Tuesday. Earlier today Bloomberg quoted Turkish Airlines Supervisory Board chairman Hamdi Topcu, who said in Istanbul that both sides were close to agreement on LOT's purchase by Turkish Airlines. According to Topcu the deal could be finalised within a month.
