Job support for young could impact older people, Trenkwalder Slovakia warns

The government programme aimed at raising employment levels among young job seekers will deform the labour market, TASR was told by head of personnel agency Trenkwalder Lubos Sirota on Thursday. "New jobs may be created, but there is a threat that others will be scrapped due to this programme, as companies will be motivated into firing older employees and replacing them with 'subsidised' young ones [aged below 29]," said Sirota.
