Hungary to start talks with IMF/EU soon, says Matolcsy

Hungary's talks with international lenders are expected to begin soon and could cover any area including new taxes introduced by the government, Gyorgy Matolcsy, the economy minister, said on Wednesday. "This is the right approach, talks should involve everything," he said. The government had submitted amendments to parliament on all issues under the infringement procedure and parliament will discuss these within weeks. Once these are adopted talks can start immediately, he said.
