Prime Minister Viktor Orban has asked deputies of the ruling Fidesz and Christian Democratic parties to adopt key budget figures and tax laws for next year before parliament breaks up for the summer. Orban spoke to reporters after a parliamentary group meeting on Wednesday. "Though it is rather unprecedented, we should have the budget framework, key figures and the revenue side already in place mid-year," Orban said. The prime minister added that the deputies supported his proposal.
