Hungary gets European traffic safety award

The European Transport Safety Council will give this year's PIN (road safety performance index) award to Hungary, MTI learnt on Thursday. ETSC was formed in 1993 with the aim of reducing the number of accidents on the road. The council helps the European Commission, the European Parliament, as well as EU member states through research and expertise.
