The government will not ask for further extension of the state of emergency, which was introduced in Czechia on October 5 and is to end this weekend, Deputy Prime Minister and Central Crisis Staff head Jan Hamacek told today's issue of daily Mlada fronta Dnes (MfD). "I expect the state of emergency to end on April 12 and the government will not ask for its prolongation any more. All measures (against the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic), for which the state of emergency is needed, will be lifted then. This concerns all restrictions of movement - the ban on trips between district and the night curfew," Hamacek said.
