Germany to end checks at border with Czechia

Germany will end checks at its border with the Czech Republic, introduced on February 14 over the serious COVID epidemic situation in this country, on April 14, Czech Ambassador to Berlin Tomas Kafka told CTK today, referring to information form the German Interior Ministry. "I have welcomed the news. This is not only a step towards the desired return back to normal in Czech-German relations, but also encouragement in our joint effort to manage the coronavirus pandemic," he added.
