Gasparovic: I hope Ukraine resolves problems vis-a-vis shelved summit

I hope that Ukraine will be able to resolve issues that have led to the cancellation of the summit of the presidents of Central and Eastern European countries that was to take place in the Black Sea port of Yalta on 11-12 May, Gasparovic's spokesman Marek Trubac said. Ukraine's move came after a number of officials pulled out of the summit in protest against the country's treatment in jail of former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
