Ex PM still favourite of Czech presidential elections - poll

Former prime minister Jan Fischer (unaffiliated) would be supported by one-third of Czechs if presidential elections were held now, according to an April poll Median released on Tuesday. Fischer headed a caretaker cabinet in 2009-2010. He would be followed by economic Jan Svejnar with 17.5 percent of the vote. The turnout for the vote would be 71 percent. Median conducted the poll on a sample of 907 Czechs aged over 18.
