Day-long protest against govt reforms held at Czech ministries

Day-long protest meetings were held outside the ministries of education and culture today, organised by the unions and NGOs associated in the Stop Government platform and aimed to highlight the negative impacts of the government-sponsored reforms and budget cuts. The protest, presented as a "blockade" of ministries, offered drama and music performances and public discussions. Education Minister Petr Fiala (unaffiliated) promised the protesters to conduct a dialogue with them.
