Czech state annually gives 100 million crowns to foreign students

The Czech state pays out around 100 million crowns per year in scholarship schemes for foreign students and 426 foreigners from 59 countries are currently receiving the scholarship, the Foreign Ministry said on Thursday. The highest number of scholarships were granted to students from Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Kosovo,Moldova, Mongolia, Palestine and Serbia, priority countries for Czech developmental aid, the ministry said.
