Czech special forces might continue operating in Mali after 2022 - Metnar

The Czech special operations forces might pursue their operation in Mali after 2022 which is the current deadline of their mission, Defence Minister Lubomir Metnar (for ANO) said on Wednesday after the Takuba counter-terrorist task force, the ministry website reads today. The Czech military's engagement in Mali started in late February. The French-commanded Takuba's aim is to help the armed forces in Mali in the fight against terrorist organisations.
