Czech Republic supports Iceland's EU bid - PM

The Czech Republic supports Iceland's application to accede to the European Union and welcomes the quick progress in accession talks, Czech Prime Minister Petr Necas said on Friday after meeting Iceland's President Olafur Ragnar Grimsson. Iceland started the EU entry negotiations two years ago. Necas and Grimsson talked about the crisis of the eurozone, which the Czech Republic is not part of. Foreign Minister Ossur Skarphedinsson also met counterpart Karel Schwarzenberg.
