Czech Republic logs smallest weekday Covid case rise since mid-Dec

The Czech Republic registered 5,245 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, which is the lowest number on a workday since December 14, similar to Tuesday's and about 1,000 lower than the preceding Thursday's, data from the health ministry show. On Thursday, a record 58,928 Covid vaccine doses were administered in the country. Vaccination against the novel coronavirus has been under way in the Czech Republic since December 27.
