The Czech Chamber of Deputies will not discuss the government bill on property settlement with churches at its current session, Zbynek Stanjura, chairman of the senior ruling Civic Democrats (ODS), told journalists on Wednesday. He said the constitutional-legal committee has not yet discussed the bill. Deputy Marek Benda (ODS) said he expects the second and third readings of the bill to take place at the Chamber of Deputies June session only. The opposition Social Democrats (CSSD) want to discuss changes to the government bill with all deputies, CSSD deputy group chairman Jeronym Tejc said.
