The Czech governments decision not to raise health insurance payments for children, pensioners and the unemployed in 2013 means that the rise in wages and development of medicine will have to be subdued and emphasis on effectiveness increased, Health Minister Leos Heger said on Thursday. The health care sector will lose money next year through a higher VAT and the end of tax reliefs for the purchase of health care materiel and equipment.
