Czech Defence Ministry wants eight-year strategic plan

The Czech Defence Ministry will work out a regular strategic plan for the next eight years and establish the National Armament Office as of 2013, Defence Minister Alexandr Vondra made the pledge to representatives of arm-makers on Thursday. He reacted to the criticism of the Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic (DSIA) members who blamed the ministry for not having a stable long-term strategy of armament.
