Budapest to host culinary festivals on weekend

Budapest will turn into a city of culinary and cultural festivals opening the summer season on the weekend. The historic Buda Castle, a one-time seat of kings, will host from Friday a Goose Liver Festival offering a range of dishes made of the traditional Hungarian delicacy and specialties such as goose liver ice-cream and cake, or chocolate made with goose liver crackling. In the Vajdahunyad Castle in City Park, a Belgian Beer Festival will take place with 24 Belgian breweries offering some 100 types of beer, more than 37 on tap.
