Blatter addresses 62nd FIFA congress in Budapest

The 62nd congress of the International Federation of Association Football started with an address by FIFA head Sepp Blatter in Budapest on Friday. In his address, Blatter referred to remarks by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban made at the opening ceremony on the eve of the congress, saying that politics must not influence the spirit of football. Hungarian Football Federation chief Sandor Csanyi talked about challenges in Hungary's football such as doping, illegal betting, hooliganism, and discrimination in sports, and urged the congress to help find solutions.
