Prime Minister Andrej Babis declined the offer of an extra supply of 750,000 AstraZeneca vaccines against Covid-19 to the Czech Republic that he received within EU negotiations two weeks ago because he preferred seeking Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines, Czech news portal Denik N has said, citing two sources. Addressed by Denik N, Babis said it had not been a direct offer but a vague suggestion made by Germany.
